The SFP value describes the electrical efficiency of the air curtain
The fans for the air curtains offered by Stravent have more than 20% better efficiency than devices from other manufacturers.
The efficiency of the fans is characterised by the SFP value. It is a characteristic of specific electricity consumption and is more effective the lower the value is (kW/m3/s).
Better fan efficiency results in significant savings without compromising the main goal itself, i.e. the realisation of a good and properly functioning and controlled air curtain.
In design solutions, it is recommended to compare SFP values from different manufacturers when considering the life cycle costs of buildings. The SFP value is given in Stravent’s latest air curtain brochures.
This is a part of Stravent’s environmental responsibility.
